Terms of Service
Gadfly is a voice tutor for technical-interview practice. It runs a spoken practice session where you think out loud and it asks the next question instead of handing you the answer, and it remembers what went wrong so it can bring it back. By creating an account or using the product you agree to these terms.
Who runs it
Gadfly is operated by its maker. Questions, notices and requests go to support@usegadfly.com.
What it costs right now
While the product is early, sessions run for free on our model key. There is no card and nothing to cancel. The thinking runs on a hosted model we pay for; a daily usage cap protects the service, and past it live sessions pause and the tutor says so rather than turning into a template. If paid plans are introduced later, the price and terms will be shown before any charge, and these terms will be updated.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in to yourself. Give a real email address — account confirmation and password resets depend on it. You can export everything you have (Download my data) or delete your account at any time from Settings → Your data; deleting your account removes your data, your sign-in and any purchase record, and cannot be undone.
Acceptable use
Gadfly is a practice tool, not an aid for use during a real interview or assessment — that is against these terms and against the point of the product. Do not use it to break the law, to attack or overload the service, to attempt to reach other people's data, or to submit code intended to harm the system that runs it. We may suspend or close an account that does.
The practice, not a promise
Gadfly helps you rehearse; it does not guarantee an interview result, and its scores and feedback are practice signals, not a verdict on your ability. The product is provided “as is”, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. It is early software and may change or have gaps.
